"Oh the Places You'll Go!" - Dr. Seuss
Hour of Coding
We learned how to code games on the I-pads with our 5th grade buddies!
Fire Safety Week
We read the book Duck for President and discussed how adults have requirements just like the farm animals had to live on the farm and be able to write their name. We made our own classroom requirements then each student went to the ballot box to secretly vote for either for Duck or Farmer Brown.

Apple Week! Language Arts
We learned about Johnny Appleseed, the life cycle of an apple, measured how many apples tall we were, tasted apples and made apple sauce!
Peppermint the elf visited us during December and was very silly! We learned about Christmas in other parts of the world (Australia, Germany, Italy, Mexico, and learned about Hanukkah and Kwanzaa), were visited by St. Nick, read and compared different versions of the Gingerbread Man, sent gingerbread to our pen-pals in Florida, studied reindeer, and did a fantastic job at the Christmas Program. What a fun and busy month!
The Kindergartners love working in their Interactive Language Arts Notebooks.
