Here is a glimpse into Kindergarten:
August/September: Creating a community, learning rules and expecatations
October: We are diving into learning sight words, number sense, and handwriting
November: We discuss helping others, God's creations, and being thankful
December: We learn how we can solve problems, Christmas around the World, and the meaning of each week of Advent
January: Adding up to 5, learning about the different types of weather, and being a good helper at school
February: Discuss seasons, building fluency with reading, and Catholic School's Week
March: Adding up to 10, we talk about animal habitat's, and Lent
April: We practice writing personal narratives, what plants need to survive, and Baptism.
May: Learning to write how-to stories, weight/measurement, and how we can take care of our world
