A Huge Thank You to the Muckleshoot Tribe! Holy Family School received a $10,000. grant from the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe to be applied to our current year operating budget. We thank them so much for valuing education and supporting Holy Family School.
For those that don't know, the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe is composed of descendants of the Native people who inhabited the Duwamish and Upper Puyallup watershed of central Puget Sound for thousands of years before non-Indian settlement. The name Muckleshoot is derived from the Native name for the prairie on which the Tribe's reservation was established.
